The role:
We’re seeking a talented and driven Solar Engineer to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional with a passion for renewable energy and a knack for building client relationships. Reporting directly to our leadership team, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects and expanding our footprint in the commercial and industrial space.
What you'll do:
Design, oversee, and execute turn-key solar projects (grid-tied, off-grid, and hybrid systems).Python programming and PLC programming. Manage client relationships, from initial consultation to project handover.Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow our client base. Work independently with minimal supervision, ensuring high-quality outcomes on time and within budget. Collaborate with our team to innovate and optimise energy solutions.
Who you are:
A bright, energetic engineer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in solar energy or alternative energy systems. We are also open to take on a post- graduate student looking to gain experience and grow with the company. Proven expertise in PV systems, hybrid solutions, or BESS projects (commercial/industrial experience a plus).A self-starter who thrives with autonomy and takes initiative.Skilled in client engagement—comfortable handling existing clients and winning new ones.Passionate about renewable energy and eager to make an impact.Based in or willing to relocate to Ceres, Western Cape.
